I embarked on a dynamic career journey leading me to IBM, where I've dedicated over two decades to diverse roles. Beginning as an intern in 2004, I've navigated through Sales Operations, IT Strategy Consulting, and leadership in Systems Technical Sales, making significant contributions to various business units, including IBM Services and IBM Software Group. After leading the Lenovo Systems portfolio in Brazil after IBM's x86 spin-off, I returned to IBM in 2018 with leadership roles in IBM Systems for Latin America. Since 2020, I've been at the forefront of the worldwide business for IBM Power Systems. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I’ve co-founded two start-ups, proficient in three languages, with academic credentials including an MBA in Marketing, a graduate degree in Software Engineering, and a BSc in Business. Outside of work, I am happily married and a proud father of two boys. Having lived in 4 different cities and 12 different homes, I'm an enthusiast for traveling, swimming, and outdoor activities.

Douglas Gibbs is the offering manager for IBM Power Systems I/O and works closely with the overall Offering Management, Sales and Development teams regarding all manners of I/O. Douglas has worked in the IT Industry for more than 25 years and has been in a variety of positions at IBM, primarily working with IBM servers and software.

Linda is on the worldwide IBM i Product Management team which creates and delivers offerings for the IBM i portfolio.

Daniel helps customers architect optimal solutions on IBM Power Systems servers running the IBM i, AIX, and Linux operating systems, and has been supporting IBM i customers for over 25 years. He also specializes in working with ISV's or applications on IBM hardware/software

Carmelita has over 10 years’ experience in the IT industry in areas of corporate, internal and external communication, corporate event coordination, product launch, project management and NPS advocacy.

Edmund Reinhardt has been working on application development tools for IBM i for over 25 years. Starting with the green screen tools in 1989 through each technology iteration from OS/2 to Java. As the architect for Rational Developer for i, he is passionate about engaging and delighting customers with its capabilities. He believes in enabling the IBM i application development community through the use of software best practices supported by modern tooling.

Steve has worked on the IBM i operating system and its predecessors since the initial development of the AS/400. Since 2007, he has been the IBM i Chief Architect, responsible for the strategy of the operating system and the plan for future releases.

Brandon Pederson is the Product Marketing Manager for IBM i and Modernization within the IBM Power business. Prior to this role, Brandon was Content Marketing Manager for IBM WebSphere and Content and Community Manager for IBM Power. He has a degree in Marketing from Concordia University Texas and an MBA from Baylor University. Brandon is an Austin FC season ticket holder.

Tim Rowe is the Business Architect for IBM i responsible for System Management and Application Development. He has a passion for modernization on IBM i and how we can continue to move IBM i into the world of 'Normal' . In his spare time he is a certified Soccer referee and enjoys refereeing games with his youngest son.

Jared has been support WebSphere Application Server on the IBM i system for over 15 years.

Jesse Gorzinski works for the IBM i development lab in Rochester, MN. He is the Business Architect of open source technologies. Jesse, who was doing RPG programming at the age of 18, is an expert on application development on IBM i, as well as system access and modernization. His hobbies include playing with his dog, replacing complex applications with 5-line Python programs, and advocating for the use of new technologies on IBM i!Prior to his 2006 employment at IBM, Jesse worked with the AS/400 as an I/T administrator for an IBM customer in the finance/mortgage industry, where he specialized in data backup/recovery, process optimization, and information integrity. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science as well as a Master of Business Administration degree

Debbie Quick is a Power Security Product Manager at IBM. She began her career 21 years ago as an Administrative Assistant, moved into z/OS Content Development three years later, and has been in Product Management for two years. She is the Product Manager for IBM PowerSC and leads initiatives for Power Security. Prior to her career at IBM, she served four years in the United States Navy as a Gunnersmate 3rd Class Petty Officer and was stationed onboard the USS LaSalle in Gaeta, Italy.
Debbie has two cats and a puppy. In her free time she enjoys RV Camping (Glamping) in the Adirondack Mountains and Wildlife Photography.
