    Liam primarily works with Node.js/TS and C, but has previously used other languages like C# and PHP. He is invested heavily into the IBM i industry to help people learn other tech (like Node.js, AWS, Azure, modern development practices, so on!). Liam loves working on and creating dev tools to make developing applications easier for everyone in the long run. He is now working at IBM as a Advisory Software Engineer, working with clients and open-source software. Liam of course loves, loves, loves open-source! Oh, and he sometimes speak at conferences.

At iTech Solutions, Nathan provides support in System administration, OS upgrades, system migrations, HMC and SAN configuration and upgrades, and maintains our PTF catalog.

    Scott Forstie is a Senior Technical Staff Member within IBM i development and spends most of his time working as the Db2 for i Business Architect. He has worked on IBM operating system development since joining IBM in 1989.

    Scott is a frequently published author, speaker at industry events around the globe and can be found @Forstie_IBMi and forstie@us.ibm.com. Scott is an avid runner and enjoys cooking.

    Simon’s experience with IBM midrange started in the United Kingdom, in a pre-AS/400 world. Since immigrating to the USA he has worked mostly in the western half of the country, and is currently IT manager responsible for the Power servers and IBM i for a large bank in Central Texas. 
     
    Simon has been writing his acclaimed IBM i blog, RPGPGM.COM, for almost ten years sharing his knowledge, experience, and giving many detailed examples of the latest RPG, SQL, and CL. He was recognized by IBM as an IBM Champion for Power (2021,2022), and as an IBM i Community Advocate. 
     
    Since its founding, in 2020, Simon has been the president of the Central Texas IBM i User Group, CTXiUG.

    Steven Wolk is the CTO for PC Richard & Son, a 110 year old family owned and operated chain of 66 appliance, electronics, and mattress superstores located throughout NY, NJ, CT, and PA. Steve's deep background in retail began on the sales floor while in college, and he's applied those lessons learned to many roles in IT throughout his 33 year career with PC Richard. As CTO, Steve feels fortunate to lead teams of very talented and dedicated people who are collectively responsible for all phases of technology development, acquisition, deployment, and support throughout the company.     Barbara Morris is the lead developer for the RPG compilers in the IBM Toronto Lab. She has been working on the RPG compilers since she started at IBM in 1989 after receiving a Computing Science degree from the University of Alberta. The first enhancement she developed was the ENDIF/ENDDO opcodes for RPG/400 in V2R1. Some of her most recent enhancements were the ON-EXIT and DATA-INTO opcodes and varying-dimension arrays. A few of the other notable enhancements that she developed for RPG include subprocedures, qualified data structures, call-interaction with Java, Open Access: RPG Edition, and fully-free-form RPG.

    Marina started her career in January 2015 at Everbrite LLC in Greenfield WI after graduating from Gateway Technical College in May of 2014 with an Associate’s degree in IT Software Development. Marina works as a developer in both RPG and Java and she also is one of two junior IBM i admins at Everbrite. Marina earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems Software Development from Bellevue University in June of 2017. She is currently working on her Master’s degree program in Computer Information Systems Software development, with the goal of teaching part time, and empowering the younger generation. Marina is also a member of the Wisconsin Midrange Computer Professional Association, Women in IT committee and has recently started speaking on a couple of topics, ranging from RPG to SQL. She has completed one open source project and is currently working on releasing iUnit an open source RPG unit testing framework written in RPGLE.

    Jesse Gorzinski works for the IBM i development lab in Rochester, MN. He is the Business Architect of open source technologies. Jesse, who was doing RPG programming at the age of 18, is an expert on application development on IBM i, as well as system access and modernization. His hobbies include playing with his dog, replacing complex applications with 5-line Python programs, and advocating for the use of new technologies on IBM i!Prior to his 2006 employment at IBM, Jesse worked with the AS/400 as an I/T administrator for an IBM customer in the finance/mortgage industry, where he specialized in data backup/recovery, process optimization, and information integrity. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science as well as a Master of Business Administration degree
